Neskrid 4Allbrands fully complies with
PPE legislation and ISO 20345
Orthopaedic footwear solutions are for people with foot disabilities, an extremely vulnerable target group with a seriously increased risk of permanent injury in foot accidents. Certified orthopaedic work and safety footwear from Neskrid ensures that people with (severe) foot disabilities can still (continue to) work safely and healthily. The Neskrid orthopaedic work and safety footwear, as a legally certified medical device, works preventively against complaints, prevents sick leave, even makes reintegration possible, and above all ensures that people can function fully.
At the request of foot specialists, distributors, and manufacturers, Neskrid has developed the innovative universal 4Allbrands concept. With the ultimate goal: practical and universal orthopaedic solutions (insoles, orthotics and devices), applicable in the models of all brands of work and safety footwear. Without any restrictions, imposed by the manufacturer of the brand of work and safety footwear.
Some manufacturers of safety footwear have, by means of enforcement requests, requested the supervisor Netherlands Labour Authority to provide definitive 100% legal clarity on orthopaedic solutions in work and safety footwear. In order to achieve this, the Labour Authority has inspected the following orthopaedic solutions in work and safety footwear for compliance with Regulation EU/2016/425 for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the associated standard NEN-EN-ISO 20345:
- Neskrid orthopaedic work and safety footwear, developed on feet of individual clients
- 4Allbrands semi- and orthopaedic insoles (orthotics) in brands of work and safety footwear
Supervisor Netherlands Labour Authority
(formerly Inspectorate SZW) has concluded:
At both Neskrid and 4Allbrands no violations were found.
The Labour Authority confirms that both Neskrid orthopaedic work and safety footwear developed on feet of individual clients, as well as 4Allbrands semi-orthopaedic insoles and orthopaedic insoles (orthotics) in the models of all brands of work and safety footwear fully comply with Regulation EU/2016/425 for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and with the essential health and safety requirements from the standards NEN-EN-ISO 20345 for safety footwear and NEN-EN-ISO 20347 for work footwear without a safety toe cap.
Foot specialists, distributors and employers are, with the universal 4Allbrands orthopaedic solutions, definitively relieved from the "straitjacket" of insoles/orthotics obligations per manufacturer of work and safety footwear. Thanks to the 4Allbrands medical devices as semi- and orthopaedic insoles (orthotics) and orthopaedic facilities, people preventively and clients with foot problems can be helped directly at foot specialists, in stores, and at work. Finally, without restrictions imposed by the manufacturer of his or her favorite brand of work and safety footwear.
